Level Design concept

On this Document, I wanted to act like I was doing a DLC of the Game Crusader Kings II.

​

So, I decided to create my own map of Japan with the distribution of the territories and respecting both the Game Design and the historical events.

What I did :
  • Made a lot of researches about the topography, geography and the climate of japon
     

  • Made researches of the historical Sengoku Jidai period in Japan and the distribution of the territories for different clans during this period
     

  • Created the distribution of the map according to both the constraints of the Game Design and historical ones
     

  • Balanced the map to drive the player through different objective choices and difficulties
